I believe that, after food, clothes and shelter, electricity is the most basic need, without which there can’t be any development. That's one of the reasons I joined Tara Urja, to bring electricity to the people who need it. But Tara Urja goes beyond just providing electricity; it does whatever it can to increase economic and social development in villages. We have helped our customers with technology, training and even with small loans for their businesses. We have helped to bring about a major change in people's lives. All our customers have smiles on their faces now.

I used to me a member of the local block development committee. I joined Tara Urja because I felt that it was similar to what I did before: serving the community. It would give me the opportunity to work together with members of the community, and to learn from them, too. By working closely together, we have developed close bonds and relationships. Another important reason that I joined is that Tara Urja has very good leaders, and this is an opportunity to learn from them as well. It feels good to be part of such a team.

My entire professional learning experience has been with Tara Urja. I joined Tara Urja in 2017, after my electrical engineering, and during the last two years, I have learned a lot by working together with the community. Today, I am managing five plants, both the technical and commercial aspects, including launching new plants and delivering new connections. The good thing about Tara Urja is the team work.
